is a United Nations Treaty Body Independent Expert (member of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, CESCR) committed to foster alliances to develop the Human Right to Science locally and globally. He is an Adjunct Professor (member of the Faculty) at the Washington College of Law, American University. Dr. Mancisidor also teaches International Law at the Law School of the University of Deusto, of which he is a member of the Governing Council. He is also a visiting professor at the Institut International des Droits de l’Homme René Cassin, in Strasbourg. He is an expert in Human Rights, international affairs, comparative public policies and human development. At the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, he works especially in relation to the Right to Education and Cultural Rights. He is the Committee rapporteur about the Human Right to Science.
