Giuseppe Aliperti tiene una amplia experiencia internacional en la industria del turismo. Ha sido Visiting Scientists tanto en el Instituto de Investigación para la Prevención de Desastres de la Universidad de Kioto (Kioto, Japón) como en la Universidad de las Naciones Unidas (Bonn, Alemania). Su investigación se centra principalmente en el turismo y la gestión de riesgos en situaciones de crisis/desastres. Después de obtener su doctorado en Gestión del Cambio y la Complejidad en la Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Italia), trabajó como Investigador en la Universidad de Kioto bajo los programas JSPS Short y Standard. Actualmente, es Profesor Asociado en la Universidad de Deusto y Investigador Visitante en la Universidad de Wakayama.
